Currently a Partner in The Sanders Partnership, a leadership consulting and coaching firm, Michelle Schmitt brings nearly 30 years of dedicated public service experience . Over this time, she grew in her passion for bringing the best practices of servant leadership, healthy workplace cultures, and personal development to state service. The ultimate goal was always improving the lives of the citizens of California as well as the lives of those serving them. As the Chief of Organizational Capacity and Workforce Management, she was pivotal in getting state government to recognize the imperative to create healthy, sustainable organizations: places people come, stay, serve with excellence and thrive both personally and professionally.
She is a consultant, coach, collaborator, facilitator of dynamic dialogues, builder of communities of excellence partnering with leadership and all members of the organization to create workplaces that invite people to bring their gifts to serve a greater purpose as well as the bottom line.
Michelle is also certified as both an integral and somatic coach working with individuals to unleash their gifts and potential: serving you in seeing and growing yourself as well as your organization thereby creating wholeness and sustainable leadership excellence.
